It was chilly at Skedaddle. The wind was blowing and it was drizzling. The kids didn't mind at first and played on the pirate ship. I enjoyed being below deck as it blocked the wind just a bit.
Kincaid tried the tire swing as his two friends were on it. They kept asking me to spin them again and again. Finally, Ed put his head down a bit and turned really pale. He got off and almost tossed his cookies. Kincaid then had to get off as his "stomach hurt". No one did actually toss their cookies thankfully...
After about 2 hours, the boys needed to eat and needed a "shelter". I put the water and wind proof blanket on them and they enjoyed some snacks before heading home. Now, we are under another wind warning. At least we have lots of wood and the candles are out and ready. Such a wild Fall - I have loved watching the weather maps and hearing about barometric pressure and blocking fronts. I have always been a weather junkie.

You've raised them right for Alaska. They are tough enough to enjoy life despite the wild weather.
