Thursday Blog

We ventured out for another orienteering adventure Wednesday night. It was a gorgeous evening with a temperature of about 65. My dad pushed Huck in Bob for most of the route, but my mom put him up on her back for the last bit. It was tough going, but he powered through. My mom was the navigator and ran ahead to punch the controls. I had a really good tim e and Duke fell asleep soon after starting I think. We didn't get lost once and Huck was mainly in charge of the compass. We just used landmarks for orienting ourselves. I highly recommend the Wednesday night orienteering meets. People always help and will give a little low down on what to do and some tips. Here is the website -> http://www.oalaska.org/index.php

What a wonderful family outing. Your weather is much better than ours. It rained all day. We are heading to Glacier this morning for our 30th Annual Golf Tournament. Won't be online until Tues. tga

Sounds good. Huck must have a great sense of direction.
