sunny...

 It was cold at the beach today.  I guess if you use your imagination, you could believe this was in a warm location.  Not so, it was about 15 at our cars and there was a bit of a breeze on the inlet.

 It looked like a moonscape with the frozen mud and no snow.  There was a little river running through and Kin followed it out almost to the inlet.  It got a bit too icy to get all the way out there, thank goodness.  I carried Duke on the beach and a friend took a picture and I hope it turns out as it was a gorgeous day!

You can see that he is not wearing a coat.  I am reading Love and Logic and he didn't want a coat.  I brought it and said that he could get it if cold.  He was shivering and crying in the stroller on the ride home. I asked him if he thinks he should wear a coat next time.  No.  I might have to rethink natural consequences in Alaska...
