 Another bird interlude... don't hate me, but they are so amusing right now.  The snow is making them frantic, crazy and without manners.  They fight and peck to get a good perch. 

 No one bothers this guy, the Stellar Jay or the Magpies though.  There are one or two nuthatches that peck their way in and the others don't put up much of a fight.

 Kincaid took this picture of me standing outside (that is my black gloved hand) with bird seed.  It only took a few minutes for one brave nuthatch to take a seed and a red pole to land and peck for a second.  I felt like snow white and Kincaid photographed the entire thing.

I love the red poles with the super red chest.  So pretty.  I do want to inform my brother-in-law that I am not turning into a birder. 

Just so you don't forget what the boys look like...  Here they are in a nightly wrestling match with their Bop.  They moved too fast for my camera to stop the action, but it is a better representation of the match.
