Snow Goose

Our hiking group headed out to Potter Marsh (I have to make a conscious effort not to say Potter's Marsh as I always thought it was!).
Friend, Duke and Kin trying to find fish in the water under the boardwalk.  None were spotted.
Even though there is a highway there, it is a rather nice view.
There were no snow geese when we arrived and people were leaving.  The kids ran down to the end and a huge flock started honking over their heads!
They are so white and have black on their wings making them really pretty as they flew.
The kids loved watching them eat.  They said they should be named "Mud Eater", but then Kincaid decided they were eating algae.  Smart cookie.

Without a doubt these photos should be in National Geographic. They are great.
