Terrible to live in such a hideous looking place! Our hiking group took us to Eklutna Lake and it turned out to be yet another splendid morning.

The kids walked a bit and then rode a bit.
A lot of time spent tossing rocks into the water. One child accidentally hit Duke in the head and it bled a little, but then stopped. Whew!
Here I am trying to wrangle two boys into the picture near the end of the hike - much like holding onto two large and slippery fish...
