The boys had so much fun at Jewel Lake today. Kincaid kicked around in the floaty tube most of the time. He was looking for the fishing pole he dropped down the hole on an ice fishing expedition this winter.
Duke did some wading with me for a bit. It was so hot that I was in just my bathing suit most of the time. Someone said their car read 80 at 10:00 a.m. crazy!
Duke spent the rest of the time keeping an eye on his dead fish. I think it is a pike. I didn't want him to touch it, so he just keep a watch. He got made when he saw a damselfly and minnow munching on it. A bit too much food chain for him.
Kincaid in the tube and then Duke and a friend watching the fish. He told her not to touch it, good friend that he is.
