Good Morning. Thank goodness no road report for you! We are still "crashing" in Cheney at our friend's house. It is 19 this morning with an apparent high of 35 with snow flurries tonight. Makes me happy I am not packing up the car today!
We went "dry tooling" yesterday. It is like ice climbing with crampons (those spiky things for your feet) and ice tools (those ice axe looking things you hold in your hands), but you do it on normal rock. It basically entails you hooking the ice tool over a little lip and gently placing your spikes on a little edge. I only did a bit of one route, but it was fun. The boys climbed for quite a while as I walked around, took pictures and called for the dogs.
We let the beasts off leash (as I couldn't hold them) and boy did they enjoy themselves. They would sprint around and then come back and lay in the snow to rest until they ran off again. I was nervous when they would go, but they always came back. The last time they were gone for too long and I got nervous, but found them rolling in something dead (YUM!). I leashed them afterwards. We had to give Parker a bath when she got home, but now she smells quite nice.
Today, we go and get the husband "interview apparel" and I help him get ready as he hasn't been on an interview in over 10 years. I am still looking at the jobs here and will let you know about that!
Have a nice day and I hope to have pictures ASAP (I know I hate pictureless blogs!)
