Lia on Kathy Lee Lane...

She is ours! We signed papers for about a 1/2 hour and we have the keys, but legally we can't go there until the loan clears Friday morning. It is crazy. We signed the papers and then the husband went inside for the first time and he liked it. Whew - load off of my mind!!

Today, we are going to look at paint samples and refrigerators. I am no longer living in a white world - any "in" color suggestions?

The movers are going to try to bring our stuff on Friday, but might have to wait until Monday. If that is the case, we will just paint without our stuff there over the weekend. The only major problem is the lack of a fence, but we will most likely have to wait until the snow melts to remedy that!
I shall keep you informed!!!

Congratulations! It looks lovely.

My advice is to choose colors you love and make you feel peaceful. I love painting. It is such a fast and inexpensive way to transform a space.

How wonderful - to have your own home. Very exciting stuff. As to paint - I go with soft colors and add the bright colors with things I can change easily. Like pictures and pillows, flowers etc. Enjoy and make it yours!!!

how fun to decorate your first home. as far as colors - I alway go light in the hues and add deeper, richer colors with accents according to the seasons of the year. Just have FUN planning & impementing - sheriwn williams will make small jars of paint samples for you to test on your walls - take a cheap sponge brush and dab some on your walls so you can see what it will look like with your direct and indirect light. I always do this. It is so cheap to do and saves tons of time. It is amazing what light does to paint in different lighted rooms. Miss ya, Carol
