We spent all day spackling, taping and painting. We finished the beautiful grey-blue stripe in the bedroom and now we need to paint the rest of the bedroom. We painted most of the living room, but due to architectural details I think that we need another color to paint a wall and the kitchen. It needs to match the "leay green" - which one of those do you like the best - a terra cotta or a warm cream? Or is there a better choice? ( I am in love with ColourLovers...)

Also, we have one wall in the living room that goes up the stairs and consequently we have to paint it all the way up or not paint it at all. Would it look weird to have that one white wall? So much to think about, I know...

I think I would paint that wall going up the stairs a neutral color to coordinate with your other colors. If the white looks good with the other colors, leave it, but if not, paint it.

I think the wall going up the stairs could be white but maybe add a 14" vertical stripe about 12" above the stair rail or several 14" wide horizotal stripes of the color of the living room paint or add the color thru pictures. I am not a fan of plain white walls.

as far as other color - Teracotta would be my choice.

Paint the wall, all the way up the stairs. Terracotta.

Wow. I just checked in and you've come so far. My vote is to paint it terracotta. We had a high stairwell and used an extension pole and edger and it all worked out fine.

ColourLovers is so much fun. I've been playing with it ever since you posted the link.

I vote for the cream.

I will HAVE to check out Color Lovers - I like the warm cream color - some one said you should have a little bit of yellow in each room - it is like sunshine. Keep us posted on your choices I am sure it will be an amazing home. tga
