I had quite the relaxing weekend that was topped off with Sunday snowboarding at 49' North. It was only about an hour and half drive (I think...) and it was one of the best days I have had on a mountain in a while. The sun was out, the snow was wonderful and it wasn't crowded at all. I was a bit worried I wouldn't remember how to get off the lift or snowboard, but it all came back immediately.



We were going to take it slowly on our first run, but ended up on a black diamond that was wonderful. We ended up skiing that one a few times - it was called Vallhalla. It was so much fun. I just was careful to stay in control the whole time and not go too fast. I really like speeding down the hill, but enjoyed making wide turns and being safe. I hope you have a good El Presidente day and celebrate it in whatever way you typically celebrate it. We might go to the climbing gym and I have to go grocery shopping...
