I have wonderful childhood memories of my sisters and I outside with coats over our long nightgowns. My father had a huge orange telescope and he would point it at the moon for us. It was amazing and I harnessed that spirit last night. I brought the tripod outside for my camera so I could take pictures of the lunar eclipse. I put on the down coat (over sweatpants and sweatshirt, not a nightgown) and pulled on the bunny boots for the adventure. The dogs ran around while I cilcked away. I was baffled by the fact that no one else was out with their head turned to the sky. I called my parents in Alaska, but clouds foiled their view of the moon. It was a pretty golden orange I would say. I couldn't see the settings on the camera to figure out all the fancy things, so I shot blindly!
