A Kansas knitting friend, Jillo, had a link on her blog to an amusingly titled website: passive aggressive notes. It was so funny to see all of these notes that people leave that are quite passive aggressive, but some more aggressive than others. This one made me laugh this morning. I would set an alarm so you don't spend hours and hours on this site...

Cleaned up another room yesterday that was becoming a catch-all for things without a home. I also worked FOREVER trying to get my printer to talk to the computer. Apparently, there is a bug between the hp printer and window's Vista. When I run the hp diagnostic, a test page with print. When I try to print with any other application, nothing. It is maddening I tell you.

No big weekend plans. Are you doing anything exciting?

The micro note was great - but better yet the BABE countdown - love it. I will check out the note site and start some notes of my own. Hope your day is great. tga

There are some valid reasons not to leave time on the microwave. I too have a spouse who leaves time on the microwave and it is a source of endless frustration for us both. Here for the record are several reasons why you should not leave time on the microwave:

1) It leaves the microwave in a state where all you have to do is press start (perhaps accidentally) and it will resume microwaving, causing permanent damage to the Klystron tube in the oven, since there would not be any food in the microwave to absorb the radiation and it would all reflect back to this very expensive tube, frying it.

2) It makes it to where you can't read the clock. In our kitchen/livingroom, the microwave display is our only clock. Instead of seeing the time, I see PRESS START ** PRESS START ** PRESS START over and over again. What time is it? I have no idea, someone left time on the microwave. Now I gotta get up off the couch and go push reset because someone was too lazy to do it.

3) It causes the next user of the microwave to have to press extra buttons. You wouldn't dream of leaving the bathroom without flushing, foisting that chore off onto the next user of that porcelain "appliance," same thing for leaving time on the microwave. Why leave it to the next user to press reset for you? Why let them clean up your mess, so to speak?

4) (OK by now you realize I could go on all day, so I'll cut to the chase)
What would "Jesus" do? "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you," He said. It's a rule to live by. Press reset, don't leave time on the microwave. We will all get along much better.

P.S. I'm not OCD, far from it.

You are right -- I spent way too much time on this very humorous site!

My mother used to leave notes like that all over the house for my brother and I. Being just a tad bit OCD in the grammar department, I used to take red pens (OK--they were thick red tipped markers..) and correct all the spelling and grammar...and she'd pop a fuse! Leaving dishes on the sink is not a big offense...but two double negatives followed by a badly spelled word? Unforgivable...
