Good Morning! I slept in a bit as I couldn't get to sleep for quite a while last night. The week at work (15 hrs of it) was quite nice. I saw a client yesterday and it made me remember how much I enjoy counseling. They told their previous counselor that I had a calming presence and good sense of humor. I don't have any appointments scheduled for next week so it is unclear what I will be doing. I don't have a phone in my office so it is hard for clients to call to set them up with me. We will see! I am scheduled for TWR 11-4. Tough schedule!
I learned that over 80% of those served by Cath. Charities are not Catholic - interesting eh? I thought so. A higher up in the organization says, "We don't serve you because you are Catholic, but because we are." Religion does good - I like that.
I am going to set a goal of finishing this pair of socks in one year. Amazing eh? It started out like this in about September apparently.
I took them to the park with Sahale for Woofstock to finish the first sock.
I now am to the straight part of the foot and I think that I can just make my deadline. I take them on airplanes and I have 2 more airplane trips in my future. I need to get these done and then find a suitable recipient. I want to start making some baby socks, but feel a need to only have one sock related project at a time. I can have tons of projects, but I don't like to have 2 in any one category!!!

You and me for the sleeping problems - mind working all night, sleep NOT . . . dad
I'm the same way about project categories. Once, I had two lace shawls going at once and it really bugged me. I hurried to finish one and avoided working on the other.
But, booties aren't socks, they're booties. ;) They're more like soft shoes for babies. lol. And they're small and cute and fast.
What a jauntie bandana Sahale has. Glad you are enjoying your job.
