As a young child, I would collect these color cards from the hardware store. I loved looking at all the colors and they are free! Woo Woo. I went on a binge yesterday at Lowes in search of the babe's room color.
I finally weeded out the blues and greens as I didn't want to be held down by having to work with that color. I wanted something more neutral. Then, out when anything that could possibly look "fleshy". I have settled in the golden tan family. There are two in the running Pear (EB14-3) and Hazelwood (262A-2) you can go to the Valspar website and paint a room with them. The color must be off on my monitor as they look totally different than the paint chip. I am sure the babe won't mind one way or the other...

I love my office color, rather goldeny. It does make my hungry though for some unexplicable reason. After the bowel impaction ER fiasco (note: NOT my bowel) I'm taking today as my day off this two weeks. I need it!

you should think about getting samples and painting a swatch in the actual room....i like the sound of hazelwood though!
I see your gravitating to MY color palate - "browns" . . . Don't tell your mom! What have you decided on for what I should doo for the babes walls? And keep in mind the size (shipping problems if huge),,,, Dad
I am sure that the babe won't care what color the room is - so just go with what ever makes you happy!!! tga
You're making me think of "Juno" and the baby requiring dessert-colored walls. (Custard, lemon meringue . . .)
Buying those little sample pots of paint sounds like a good idea at this point.
Flesh-colored walls sound gross. lol.
