I placed an order with Kpixie on Saturday morning and received my items on Monday! Isn't that amazing? I highly recommend them for your urgent knitting needs. I bought this pattern for the Baby Bobbi Bear and Blue Sky Alpacas cotton. I am quite excited about the prospect.

I also regret to inform you about a casualty in the world of knitting. You might remember my infatuation with the "world of knitted teddy bears" and my Thomas bear that had all his parts and pieces completed. I became so frustrated during seaming that he is hibernating in the trash, forever. It happens and we move on in life. We move on to teddy bears that have minimal seaming and are knit with bigger yarns!

I got up at 1 am to register my mom and sis for the Gold Nugget Triathlon in Alaska. I also made my reservations to go up and be an athletic supporter slash photographer. Yipee, I get to go home!

I'm not against giving up on projects as a rule, but would like to volunteer for seaming in the future - send the pieces to me, for I shall be your personal finishing service.
