Good Morning!

I am back from the whirwind trip and am just a bit on the tired side. We got into Detroit after midnight on Friday and got back home after midnight Sunday. It was so quick , but quite fun. I didn't bring my camera (but I will have photos from others) and the gifts are being sent back (as we didn't have time to check a bag).

We went to the Easter (on the east side of the city) Market in Detroit, which is just a really big market with flowers, veggies and some old actual stores like a big meat market, wine shop and a wonderful candy shop that the older sister would have LOVED (I bought a large bag of sour balls, yum!).

The shower was so wonderful and I was showered with such wonderfully thoughtful gifts. I will have to take a picture of it all when it arrives. I think there were about 20 people there! The husband has a family that is just as close as mine and I love that.

I have to get some breakfast now and then give the beasts some love. I was so tired last night that they didn't get enough for me being gone. I hope you had a great weekend!
