I am furiously eating as I have to start fasting in 15 minutes. I have my gestational diabetes test this morning. So, I start fasting at 7 and can drink water until 9. I then drink my allegedly disgusting orange, sugar water and "take nothing by mouth" until my appointment at 10. I so am bringing something to eat immediately following the test though. I have a tendency to get a bit moody if I don't eat...

This is the last Alaska picture. I took it when my mom and I were handing out bibs for the triathlon. The snow is still way down on the mountains. In Alaska, seasons get compared to how far the snow is down the mountains and how much bloom is left on the fireweed plants.

We are in a bit of a rainy season here in Washington. I don't mind it as it is cool and that makes me happy. We seem to have lost a part to the lawnmower during the move and either need to find it ASAP or buy a goat as the dogs might get lost in the towering greenery out back!

It is my mother's last day of teaching for the school year - yipee for her! Have a great weekend!
