I finally was able to give my friend her baby gift! It is a taggie blanket with fake suede on the back, puppy prints on the front, ribbons along the side and corners on the back for little fingers. She was a "dog friend" who lived in the apartments when I first moved to Spokane. A bunch of us with dogs became fast friends as we would take our beasts out to play together. They became a second family! She and her husband came to visit this week.

I had fun picking out all the fabrics and ribbon and it was a snap to piece together and make. It just took a lot of pins to keep all the ribbons in place. She brought me lots of baby books and games to stimulate babe's intellectual development! What a trade!
