North to Alaska! I head home quite early tomorrow morning (plane leaves at 7:00 am) to be an athletic supporter for my mom and older sis in the Gold Nugget Triathlon. It sold out all 1400 slots within 24 hours. I know why as it is the best run triathlon I have ever participated in and the most fun with all of that estrogen. I just hope my hormones don't make me cry the whole time. I was getting teary while watching movie, "Air Force One" with Harrison Ford the other night when everyone was saluting him. I should bring the kleenex...

I am very excited to see the family. Even though I have a house here, when I say, "home" I always mean Alaska. I will pack up tonight - my suitcase is still in the bedroom from the last trip. Spring is always about travelling for me it seems - Hawaii, Vegas, Michigan and now Alaska. Woo Woo! I will be sure to come back with tons of pictures of mountains and triathletes! I have to figure out which knitting projects to bring and I have a book, "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" and might just buy a movie for ipod too! Look out Alaska, here I come!
