It was such a good visit with the older sis. I had been feeling a bit homesick and it got a bit better with her being here. I wasn't the most exciting hostess, but she promised it wouldn't deter her from coming back.

We spent Sunday morning watching the swim leg of the CDA Ironman. It was quite inspiring, but not enough to make me want to do it. The 1/2 ironman is still a possibility though. There was a man who was disabled and was carried out of the water to his waiting wheelchair, a blind man tethered to his guide man, a woman who didn't make the cut off time, but completed the swim anyways and a woman in her 50s who came out of the swim and hugged her mother who was crying. There also was a hot tub that the partcipants could warm up in after getting out of the water! They said around 30,000 people were watching the race - amazing!

Lia,

The race info in inspiring, but I'll never be "iron" and am lucky to be in the paper division.

I'm glad that the visit was great. I'm still trying to figure out a way to be there for the birth. Can you ask Huck when he plans on making his grand entrance?

Great pictures. I am sure just being there and seeing such sights was exciting. And I had a very nice visit (via telephone) with my sister this week end, too! tga

Made it home rather late. Woke up to a cat instead of a dog . . .
