One of my favorite things about this house is the yard. I love the trees in the back, the ivy along the front porch and the lilacs along the side (even though I really don't enjoy the smell!). Since it has been raining quite often, the grass is getting much greener and the trees are so leafy. I would love for the husband to make me a rain water collection system so I can water things with that water. We should fertilize and weed-n-weed and will do it next year I think. The fence is still my first priority and there is hope for it to get done by July - I know, I can hardly wait. I want a privacy fence so I can enjoy the yard with peace and quiet. I asked the husband if we could put in some little plastic bubble like port-holes for the dogs, but that got vetoed. It just needs to be flush with the ground as Sal used to dig her way out. They aren't jumpers like my parent's dog thank goodness.

A shout out to the Red Wings - Congrats on winning the Stanley Cup. The husband and I watched the last period together even though he is out of town with skype. It was nice.
