ant hills...

I am an outdoorsy gal and there isn't much in nature that gives me the willies and creeps me out very much. I don't like worms, but I just tend to avoid the wormy places. Spiders are fine if they don't crawl on me. BUT... just look at this ANT HILL. It makes my skin crawl just writing about it. It is huge and just undulates with the little suckers. I just have this terrible image of tripping and falling into the hill. Yick. I have to change the subject and fast.

I can't leave you feeling all creepy and crawly, so I shall post a picture of Parker. We had just gotten back from a walk and she was super tired. I love how shiny her coat looks - it isn't from Pantene. It is from Medical Lake. You too could have shiny fur if you bathed there apparently. On the downside, you might smell a bit funky. At least this blog doesn't have scratch and sniff!!!

Lia,

I really admire Parker's coat, but that ant hill is truly impressive. I didn't know they made such things . . . and I'm glad they don't in Alaska.
