Here is the pattern I finally settled on for my so soft baby alpaca with a twist. It is called, "Falling Water" and is quite easy, but looks nice and is soft.
I knit while watching a wonderful movie called, "Penelope" from 1966. Natalie Wood plays a kleptomaniac married to a banker and it was wonderful. I think that my mom would have liked to watch it with me...
I also tried out two natural methods for weed killing on my driveway I found on the Internet. Method one was boiling water, which actually worked pretty well. It just takes a long time to boil the water and it was hard to get it just on the plants. They did wilt and shrivel. Method two was vinegar and soapy water, which I am not too impressed with thus far. Perhaps they will die soon though. I might just have to go and buy the dreadful RoundUp even though I don't like chemicalling the environment.
I did prune the hedges and ivy on the front porch. I must say that I really enjoy pruning. It is so satisfying to start with a tangled jungle and end up with a neatly cropped shrub. So good. I started to rearrange my bedroom, but got it where I thought that I wanted it and decided it was better the old way. I was too tired and am just leaving it in disarray until the husband gets home to put it back. It is frustrating not being able to do some of the things that I would like to do. Alas.
I hope you have a good week everyone!

I like the falling water, but what will it be? A blanket? Yes, no more arranging furniture in your delicate state . . .

Sounds like you are really having busy time - but getting much done and some things redone. The Falling Water looks wonderful. tga
Lia,
Falling water is great for its name alone!
You get your pruning inclinations genetically--from both father and grandfather. The lack of cleaning up disorder you get from me. Pregnancy you got from John. It's the natural order of things.
Mom
Pruning? You are just like dad!!
Ha!

Hmm... sounds like nesting to me. Babe might be on the way
Nesting, hon? ;)
Falling Water is lovely. Nice choice.
Thanks for reminding me of the boiling water tip. I used it at our old house, and I need to do something about the grass growing in the driveway cracks here.
