I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words of encouragement and humor. Nothing new to report on the babe front as he is holding strong until my mother and little sister arrive. He has been given evacuation orders for the 1st and we will see if he heeds the warning or gets a little more "encouragement" (don't worry, no castor oil for me). Mom gets here tomorrow afternoon and then the little sister on Friday morning. Yipee!

He has hiccups as I am typing this. It used to make me nervous as I thought it was a slow heart beat or something else frightening. Now, I try and scare him to make them stop or start gliding in the chair as that seems to work most of the time.

The wonderful church ladies at the Parish threw me a baby shower the other day. How nice is that? There was taco salad (I avoided the meat), blue punch and a cake. They also had gotten me presents. I really haven't worked there very long and it was so nice, so darn nice. I received some baby outfits, a soft puppy toy and a handmade blanket. I might have to rethink my slightly negative look on organized religion if these ladies are any reflection...
