Isn't that hilarious! It is from a website called cake wrecks and I thought it was amusing they used black bars to censor it. Tee Hee.

I have begun to get a little anxious/excited about giving birth. I have been likening it to when I did my first triathlon. I had a little bit of a hard time going to sleep the night before and I was nervous about what it would be like. I hadn't done anything like it before, but I had trained, read books and prepared the best that I could. I was excited about the new experience. I knew that it would be challenging, painful at times and wonderful at the end. That is how I am going into the birth. I have prepared and feel that I have the basic knowledge and skills, but really haven't done anything like it before. That leaves me a bit apprehensive. I know that it will be challenging and painful, but I know that I can do it. I am confident! I also know that the "finish line" will make it all worthwhile.

OMG! That cake is hilarious!

You will be fine when you deliver, it's scary but when I think of all the things you have done in your life (like ice climbing!) I KNOW you will do great!!!

I hope the babe shows up this weekend while your family is in town!

This is one you'll undoubtedly win.

I wonder when the cake will be on the show that mom watches about cake making on TV? Would be a prize winner in 3-D and airbrushed instead of photos . . . dad

You have a winning attitude. I love it. :) I know you'll do fantastic.

And hey, I've given birth four times. Maybe a triathalon shouldn't be so scary to me.

You'll do fine--and remember, if it was all that bad, the human race would have stopped after Eve gave birth.

Just focus on your breathing and the end result will be worth it all! Being scared is normal. It is a big event, but you can do it.

But PLEASE don't name him after a fruit like the music/movie stars are so fond of doing lately...With names like Apple and Huckleberry, people never know whether to cuddle them or roll them in a bowl with salad dressing!LOL!

Sending hugs your way.

Hi Lia,
I know how anxious you must be. But like your Mom said,Your body knows what to do. It takes care of everything. Even though we all fear a loss of control, childbirth is different. It's integral, your body, your mind and your primal instinct all work together. It is a phenomenal experience! You will do this like you do everything else - exceptionally.
