Thank you for the comments about yesterday's steeking (not streaking big sis). Today, we shall discuss dogs who roll in the grass. Parker loves to go outside and roll onto her back - she then slides back and forth scratching her back. I should take a video of it sometime as it is quite amusing!

I also finished up my flip top mittens from a million months ago. I made a pair previously, but they were a bit on the snug side. These, are a bit on the large side. I shall keep them until I hear about someone with cold hands that are in desperate need of a flip-top.

I also need your help. Well, mainly the knitters who read this blog. This is my coveted big hank of baby alpaca with a twist. It is the softest yarn in the world. I am ready to knit with it. I knit a bit of cozy (from knitty), but didn't like it. I need a pattern for a scarf or wrap that I can snuggle into during the winter. I think there are about 600 yards on the hank. Ideas?

Lia,

I love the flip top mittens! I'm willing to grow my hands bigger to make them work for me. The alpaca yarn will make something beautiful, if only I knew what. A knit wit out there will know what.

I haven't made it yet, but my suggestion would be Cozy from Knitty 2004. You don't have quite the yardage for the full thing (~750 yards), but it would still be a very decent size wrap. I would think it would be so warm with that yarn! Good luck finding a pattern!

I am definitely requesting a "Voll in de Hay" video. Where wolf? THERE wolf. Nice Knockers.

The roll in the hay story clearly struck a chord with me and Young Frankenstein!
