Windy weather last night reminded me of Kansas. A tarp got caught on the pole outside the house and was flapping wildly. There was lightening and some thunder with a bit of rain. Babe slept (and ate) through it without flinching. A town 40 minutes away was evacuated due to a fire, but nothing close to us.

Our day alone was splendid. We even took a nap on the couch during an episode of Law and Order. I finished the sleeves on the steeked sweater and am going to overstitch something maybe for interest. No big plans today!

Yup, wild weather day here too yesterday, but in the AM with lightning, thunder, and a woos of a dog who cried. I can usually give you a preview of your weather . . . just ask! Good to Skype with you and the Huckers yesterday. I'm surprised by how much I miss him. SW just published a $49/each way fare and I'ld like to bring Angelica for a day in September if that works for you.
