Sometimes the husband informs me that he is going to do "chores" - it always makes me smile. This usually entails cleaning the garage or working outside on one project or another. I helped him with the "chores" on Sunday. We cleaned the shop and garage - it seemed that all our wonderful storage space had just become dumping grounds for piles of miscellaneous items. We got it all spiffed up and ready for the cycle to continue (clean - dumping ground - clean).

Babe seems to sleep the soundest outside in his carseat so he helped out too. We tossed an old climbing rope over a truss and hooked babe's seat to it. He slept while swinging around so contently it makes me want him to sleep out there at night, but then I would have to go outside to feed him - he will just sleep inside next to me.

the homemade version of the ambibaby. maybe you can take him climbing and sleep on one of those cots hanging off the side of a cliff.
