In Alaska, the seasons are summer, winter and breakup. Breakup is when the snow melts and all is slushy. It seems that we are in the midst of breakup here in Spokane. The streets are basically rivers and the dogs live on the edge with each step they take outside. Sometimes they break through and are up to their arm pits - amusing to watch and good exercise for them. I also put a picture of a new trick Huck learned from his wonderful aunt Kory and his grandpa. The game is called "pull on the tree and get the shiny balls". If you want, he can come over to your house next holiday and show you in person!

Lia,

I would love to have him come again . . . and do the pull on the Christmas tree trick.

What a smart guy - and such a big help. But that "breakup" doesn't sound fun at all. tga

Looks like you are going to have to start rafting instead of going for walks!
