Huck and I are homeward bound to Alaska starting this morning and need to arrive by Sunday. Wish us luck for this crazy journey with the babe and two dogs. I usually don't get into my private life on the blog, but the husband and I are separating. Thus, the journey northward. I am evoking the don't ask policy with this disclosure though. We just are deciding that we will be happier living apart. The blog will go on as usual when we arrive and are a bit settled as I am not anticipating much WIFI along the Canadian Highway. My father is down here and we shall be up north soon. - Lia

It seems like no matter where you lived I always remember you calling AK home. Glad you are going back to the place you love so much. I am sad that now you will be even FARTHER away from me (ha!) but someday JR and Josie and I will make a trip up there to see you and the pups and kids. Travel safe. Looking forward to hearing about many Alaskan adventures!

Much love - Susan :)

Safe travels to you and your entourage.

We still miss you in Kansas, but I'm sure you will be happy back home in Alaska.

Thinking of you and your travels - 3 humans and 3 dogs - should make it eventful and NOT boring - tga

Miss your blog but have a picture in my mind of your travels. My first trip over the Alaska Highway was with Mom and Dad and 5 kids - we later learn Mom was pregnant with Frank!! tga
