I figured out a great way to 4 wheel with Huck and retain the ability to drive with both hands. In true alaskan fashion (no, I didn't use duct tape), I employed a bungee cord! It worked just perfectly and he didn't seem to mind a bit. Kory took pictures so you could all see the system. Huck really enjoyed the ride yet again with his "wheee" noises. We did see a canoe on land by the mouth of the inlet which is still puzzling to us. I hope you had such a lovely weekend!

In my south central Alaska history research, several sources say that the Dena'ina Indians in your area often rowed their bidarka's from the Knik & Eklutna area all the way to Sunshine (so I'm not surprised to saw a canoe beached near there.)

I love the bungee idea...much classier than duct tape. lol

Oh yes...another comment...maybe you can "attach" Huck to the four wheeler like they secure little kids to the camel saddles (during camel races in the Persian Gulf). They put a big velcro patch on the seat of the kids pants and another velcro patch on the camel saddle (in your case the four wheeler)...and wha-la!! LOL

Bungee cords!! I never thought of that! I use strips of webbing or fabric to secure Zak to me on the 4 wheeler or tractor. You both look happy!
