These are pictures of my grandpa's garden. The veggies are getting so huge. My favorites are the peas and potatoes. So many memories of digging up the potatoes in the fall with my grandpa. We also would spend hours picking and eating peas - there is nothing like a pea straight off the vine and into your mouth! Yummo. I don't know if you can see the rhubarb in the picture, but that is another wonderful thing about Alaska. It gets so huge and the crisps are fantastic - I could eat them everyday!

Hmmmmm, I had a barbarita last night for happy hour. A margarita with fresh local strawberries and rhubarb. Twas an interesting blend of sweet and tangy.
