I had a few minutes to kill before taking some things to my mom over her lunch hour. I turned right where I normally turn left and went through a neighborhood. I soon found myself in a really pretty wooded area with a pond. I think it would be a great place for running while pushing two babies come triathlon training time (January). I stopped to snap a few pictures as it was quite serene. The Danger no Swimming sign was posted just to the left of the duck pond. 1. Why would someone think this would be a fine spot to take a dip AND 2. What is the danger? I wish there was a little disclosure indicating the cause of the risk (i.e., Nessie, sharks, killer sea weed). It left me quite curious to say the least!

I hope you have a good weekend. We are the house of sniffles and sneezes with my dad pretty much over it, my mom much in the midst of it, me sniffling and in denial and Huck with just a bit of a sniffle from time to time (thank goodness for breast milk!).
