I thought this picture looked like Huck was heading off to work with his briefcase (and spoon). What a silly guy. He loves to carry around anything with a handle or string.
I also thought that people outside of Alaska would be interested in how our weather reports always share the sunrise and set and amount of daylight lost (in the winter) or gained (in the summer. Yesterday, our sun rose at 8:39 and set at 4:45. We lost 5m and 22s from the previous day. It doesn't sound like anything noticeable and from one day to the next I can't see a difference. It does add up in a week though! Just think of a month!
It never has really bothered me that much, but some people get a bit stir crazy without the light. Our Costco even sells lights aimed at SAD (seasonal affective disorder). Even the Pres is a bit frightened by our winter as he told a press conference he wouldn't visit here in the winter! Oh come on, it isn't that bad. Just think of the wonderful outfits Mrs. Obama would wear in this climate!!!
Have a great weekend everyone and thank you for reading this and leaving me little comments. It does make it worthwhile even though I don't respond to them individually. They come to my email and I love it when another one pops up for me!

It's great to have a little guy to carry around my work. He is great help to us all!
Your mom
How nice to have Huck to brighten the days, regardless of the lack of daylight. tga
Do di do . . . I can just see him in kindergarten dressed in a little suit with his professor glasses and a briefcase (holding his spoon collection!).

When do you think the spoon obsession is going to break? I can just imagine him toting the spoon to the movie theater like I did with my travel fluffy!
I'm looking forward to seeing photos of BOTH babies. Do you have a name picked out yet?
