Brothers

It is just an amazing moment when I realize the boys have been all too quiet for all too long and I find them reading together. They are starting to play cooperatively more often. They will sit with the same book, fish on the same boat or even cook in the same kitchen (they even helped each other filet their respective play dough snakes the other day). People said it would happen and I am so glad. Of course, the fights, screaming sessions and hits far outweigh these serendipitous events. Nonetheless, I hold firmly onto the Pollyanna-esque idea of a future of them being the best of friends and playing together all of the time without a single squabble.
