Empty Nest (mostly)

It is going to be so quiet around here come noon as Kory heads back home.  We will miss everyone so darn much.  It was so fantastic having everyone here - at our beckon call for playing spades, having mimosas at breakfast or just talking.

I know it will take a bit for the boy to adjust to just having each other for playmates.  

We had so much fun with them this holiday and hope we have more times all together soon.  Oh yeah, we will all be in Hawaii in March.  No complaining on flights for us as Lu and Bex will fly to us from Seattle (no biggie), but fly back to the East Coast (22+ hours).  

It was my best Christmas yet!  (I think I say that each year, but it is true).  We played a game (Loaded Questions) and one question was what one word describes your life and I choose "Serendipitous" (an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident.)  My current life path, wasn't the one I had planned, but I am finding that it has amazingly wonderful benefits!
