The Captain Cook Hotel does a huge gingerbread house town and we took the boys.
They liked looking at it for a short time, but it is amazing.
They were more interested in finding all of the whales in the lobby. They found quite a few!
Duke liked the reindeer and the bells they had on their necks.
We also played outside a bit. Kincaid wanted to take his fish that "had an injury" so we finally put him in a backpack. He wore him the whole time (almost 2 hours) we played. My mom said he looked like he was going on a Denali expedition. When we got home, he asked where his fish was as he forgot about the backpack. Silly boy.

Now if only Joe Hickel had remembered to put a fishing scene in the gingerbread village, the boys might have been more interested.
