Alaska Three Bears

Kincaid has been wanting a book about Little Red Riding Hood.  I downloaded and wonderfully illustrated version, but deleted it after the wolf eats the grandmother and then the woodsman uses scissors to cut them out.  I fast forwarded through to where another wolf tries to get revenge and goes after Little Red Again.  So much carnage for a children's story.

We couldn't find a version at Fred Meyer, but they both decided on another wonderful book.  (I was looking for Thunderfeet, a favorite of my cousin, which they didn't have either.)   It is Alaska's Three Pigs complete with bush pilots, canned Yam (not spam), igloos and a big, bad, bear that gets frozen into an ice block.  It is wonderful.  I highly suggest this as a toddler gift.  There are lots of words, but I don't mind that for a bedtime story!
