I am so amused by how the boys play with their toys. I just want to take pictures of all the little scenarios. Kincaid gives a stream of consciousness, play by play the entire time. "The frog jumps into the water. The fish splashes. Then, the frog catches the fish." It goes on endlessly.
Duke doesn't give a play by play, but will play with his fisherman or stack blocks for a bit now. I love watching him focusing on something intently. This new found independent play is giving me a bit of time to knit! Woo Woo - I have a baby gift sweater on the needles right now!
Nam has been sick and Kincaid was trying to play with her. Nam wasn't as interested in the fishing expedition though. We played at a friend's house in the morning and then inside the rest of the day. It was a high of -4 and was -17 when we headed out - a bit cold for even my taste!
This is Bear Grylls catching a Sacker Trout. I think he made up that name by himself or it is a new species I have yet to meet. Tonight at dinner, Duke ate more salmon than anyone else. I think it was more than any two other people combined. I think I might need to get some new clothes as this might be a growth spurt!

Hope Nam is feeling better! What great pictures and text! As always thanks for being such a loyal blogger! tga
Golly, they still haven't lost the guy, net, or fish.

I always enjoyed watching our kids play like that, then they "graduated" into putting on their own plays...you have that to look forward to, it is a real hoot.
