We made ice eggs. The kids weren't as excited about them as I was it seemed. I filled balloons with water and put them outside. Tore off the balloons and we had huge ice eggs. The boys just wanted to stab and cut them, but no luck. They are now in the back yard looking odd.
We went to the museum on a well below zero day and ventured upstairs to the Alaskan History section. The boys loved the miniatures - especially the whale killing and salmon fishing village scenes.
This was on the wall at the museum. I felt an earthquake this weekend as well. It was small, at 3.67 and just a jolt really. The boys were sleeping and didn't wake up thankfully.
My hands were so darn cold. Look at the color of my face compared to the light blue of my finger tips. I was cold to say the least.
Sunday it heated up to 12 and we zipped out of the house. The boys were so darn happy. I was quite glad to get outside into the fresh air as well.
I was wondering why the sled was so darn heavy with just two boys...
They had a wonderful time as is evident from Duke's smile!

How blessed the boys are to have such a wonderful Mom! tga
Maybe they would have been more excited with food coloring in the ice eggs? But I suppose they would eventually discolor all the beautiful white stuff you guys have.
It is good to see their smiles again.
