Kincaid desperately wanted to go Cheney Lake even though I told him it was covered with ice and snow. He said he could bring a Beluga whale to break the ice, but we never found one who would join us. Kincaid was so disappointed he couldn't see the water.
Duke, on the other hand, could have cared less. He fell asleep on the way over there and stayed asleep as I put on his gloves, coat and hat. I put him in the sled and covered him up and there he slept while we were out. It didn't last too long as Kincaid got hungry and had a hard time eating his Famous Famous (that is what they call famous amos) cookies with gloves and then his hand got a bit cold.
We did bring Sal who really didn't like the ice. I tortured her by making her follow me out on the ice - she was like a new born deer and it made me laugh. She did like jumping on the snow and up onto the berms. Good Times.

It could be a long time before the belugas break up the ice on Cheney Lake!

Golly no belugas? Perhaps they should be stocked.
