Alaska Mill and Feed had a Pet New Year and gave rabies shots and microchips. We took the dogs to get their shot and it was a wild experience. Gabby hates the car, Kincaid hates crowds and loud places (both included at the fair) and we were there about 20 minutes early and were 30 deep in line! Amazing. It all worked out and my favorite quote of the day from Duke, "Sahale is dripping water on me from her mouth." Closely in second was Kincaid making a horrible face saying, "Gabby smells terrible."
Mom and I donned wet suits, pinned fish to ourselves and wore snorkeling masks for the Ski For Women. There are competitive events, but we skied in the party wave. It was quite fun, but I was freezing. My mask froze up during the costume parade and my toes unthawed as we drove home. It was a lot of fun and it was fun to see the costumes!

I'm so lucky that I have you to get me involved in such things. I never thought I would wear a wet suit in public--especially in February in Alaska.
Your mom
The pic of duke and the dogs is SO good...what a wild ride.
Love the Mother/Daughter picture. How lucky you are to have each other! tga
