Weekend in Review

We went downtown for the Festival of Flowers.  The boys mainly enjoyed playing in the trees around Town Square and planting their own Marigolds (which we then planted by the house).
We had a late birthday party for our cousin at Birchwood.  Another cousin of mine brought sidewalk chalk and there are now many sharks on the driveway.
Duke needed to wash his hands after drawing fish inside the shark, because "he was hungry".
Here is the party crowd!  I love living so near my relatives!
The boys spent quite a long time watering the lawn.  We left them unattended for a bit and found they were making a "pond".  Oh well, it was in a dry spot.
Isn't it amazing how much it ages him when his hands are in his pockets.  He has reached the stage of putting "things" into his pockets.  At the park, he filled them with rocks.
We also helped raise a wall for my cousins.  My dad has been out there all the time helping with construction.  It took many of us to stand it up! (I helped and then took a picture)
I came out this morning and found Duke fishing from a boat.
We then went to the summer kick off party for my Outdoor Group (the Anchorage Outdoor Family Network).   We tried to get away with not reserving the shelter at the playground, but got the boot from a nice church group.  It didn't rain after we moved our table out though - thank goodness!
