Fair.

Lots of pictures and little words.  As you can see from mom, the weather was quite breezy and a bit windy.  It never got too chilly, so that was nice.  The kids loved the petting area.

Duke liked the chickens the best and Kincaid liked the horse.  He said the alpaca bit him so he didn't like that one so much.
The highlight was definitely the baby chicks.  You could see some hatching, other newborns and then a tub of ones free for the petting.  I had to pry the boys away from that area.  They loved petting those cheeping little critters.
They talked all day about going on the Merry-go-Round, but didn't make it past this ride.  Duke flew the helicopter, one boat and then another one.  Kinciad did go on the big slide with Kory though.  They both had to be taken away crying and screaming.  Duke was serious and steered the entire time.  Kincaid smiled and asked us to wave to him.

The kids were soothed by some ice cream.  It was a typical Alaskan State Fair Day!  Memorable, but not in typical ways!

That ride looks amazing! Ice cream soothes all little ones, it seems. Thank goodness for that.
