Sun.
Sunny skies again for skedaddle! I biked over to the park and the kids ran around for over 2 hours. Kincaid mainly played with his best buddy, Ed. Duke ran with them for a while and then said he had to find "new friends" as Kin and Ed weren't playing with him anymore. This seemed like a glimpse into the future...
As I had my helmet on to bike home, I noticed that I had a flat tire. Yes, another flat tire in the same tire as before. A friend put the bike in her car and delivered it to my house. I put on my flip flops and walk - ran us home. I did part of it shoe-less and really like to run barefoot, as if that should be a surprise. My knees and shins don't hurt as much, but the broken glass scares me a bit. I had just put on my flip flops to go up a hill and noticed a batch. Urg.
We made it home without incident and it turned out to be a good 40 minute nap for the kiddos. My dad later on found a small piece of glass in my tire that must have caused the first flat and then the second one. It is out now and the tube is patched. Whew!

Another batch of great pictures--and great sunshine.
Your mom
Obviously you need some five fingers too! Or just do your next race (not glassy!) sans shoes :)
