Taking a Breath!

The weekend in reverse....  I roped my family (mom, dad, kids and my mom's visiting friend) into helping out with the Milk Run.  It raised money for a breastfeeding foundation at Providence Hospital.  The kids helped out by watching shows and not fussing.  Good boys.
It rained cats and dogs and then some more.  Thank goodness we ran the water station and kept people hydrated.  The organizer had us set up a tent - for ladies to nurse kiddos or change diapers.
Friday had us picking crowberries at Arctic Valley.  My helped was so happy (cookies helped).  I made Blue - Crow - Lemon Jam - so tasty.
Kincaid got a bit tired of continually eating berries and had to just rest.  Such a great place - comfy on the grasses.
He then played in the river and climbed up the waterfall.  I think his shoes are still drying out from the river crossing.
The wind was blowing - you can tell from our hats.  Duke took a more direct approach to the weather and covered up with this blanket.
There is a fantastic view of the city from the road.
Saturday my Outdoor Group had a day at the climbing gym.  The kids ran wild.  Kincaid climbed up a bit a few times, but overall just ran and threw themselves onto the mats.
A friend took a picture of the boys watching me climb.  I was helping a friend pass her belay test and they thought it was hilarious!

Great times overall!!

K and D were totally engrossed by your climbing skills. It was wonderful to watch. Thanks again for leading the charge!
