rainy. again.

It was windy and rainy, rainy, rainy.  Our tiny little creek that the boys crossed easily turned to a river with white water.  I think I could have kayaked down it with little difficulty (the culverts could have been tricky).  This was due to a warm weather system bringing high winds and rain.  Not super windy here, but rain.
Duke had to get all geared up to pick up Kin from school.  He really doesn't like to miss this part of the day.  Doesn't he look angelic? and big?
Together again.  Walking home through the huge puddles - fun.  I try not to scold Kin for getting wet.  I just remind myself that pants can dry and be washed - it isn't the end of the world.  You can't really see it in the this pictures, but craziness over the weekend.  I was sitting watching Green Lantern and heard a bang - I thought kids were banging on the drum wall at the playground.  A bit later, I turned around as the bouncing teeter toy was on fire.  I told dad to call 911.  Craziness.  People gathered, fire trucks came and put out the mess.  Bop and I searched for suspects hiding along the church or river to no avail.  Just made us all mad, mad mad. They removed the play thing and loads of the rubber mulch.  I hope they replace it as my boys loved it.  Grrr.  Vandals.
