We went to the mandatory family bonding activity of the tree lighting downtown. We have our system dialed in now - dinner downtown, head over and let the kids play on the snow mound, be the first into the reindeer lot and zip away quickly.
On Sunday, we hiked around Powerline Pass with friends. It was a beautiful day!
The main trail was an ice skating rink and the side trails were such a good workout as every other step you fell in up to your knee.
We saw a huge batch of birds - eagles, ravens and magpies.
Upon closer inspection (I have pictures, but if you are eating it might not be good), we saw it was an old moose kill.
