After much comparison shopping, we purchased a refrigerator from Lowes yesterday (but apparently, today they called and the door is damaged -but wasn't yesterday- so they are trying to figure this out). It was the "last one" and was a big markdown.

After much deliberation, we also bought paint for the bedroom and living/dining room. The husband and I have very different desires for colors. We choose "Leafy Green" for the living room area. The bedroom was a real compromise - it shall be a silver/brownish color with a stripe of my favorite blue. I shall find linens and drapes in that blue color too. --> Little sis showed me Colour Lovers and that is where I made my pallet. <--

We also looked at couches, but were a bit frazzled by the time we got to that. The husband wants big and cushy, but I like clean lines and firm cushions. That compromise will have to wait for another day.

So, we are going to start painting. I think that we will stay at the friend's house until Monday when the movers will bring us our belongings. I will take pictures, but you will have to wait until my camera cord arrives to see anything. The suspense continues!!!
